Multi-Faceted Storyteller

Unknown.jpg

KISAKYE- the Luganda meaning of God's grace. A passionate, energetic soul who values the art of storytelling through her various creative passions. It all started in the 2nd grade talent show with Kelly Clarkson's "Behind These Hazel Eyes", fast-forward, Kisakye has been able to revitalize her skills as a storyteller through The Institute for American Musical Theatre. As a first generation Ugandan-American woman, Kisakye understands and values every opportunity to grow and create; not just for herself but for various communities.  The catalyst from hobby to career in musical theatre began with her involvement in The Peter Pan Foundation (PPF). The PPF is a  non-profit which uses the philanthropy of musical theatre to raise awareness and funds for various charities. Originating the role as PPF's first black Tinkerbell, Kisakye continued cultivating her artistry through gospel choirs, classical voice, musical theatre, poetry, and more. Additionally, Kisakye debuted her librettist/lyricist career through the one act musical "Papillion Waltz" in Spring 2021 in collaboration with Nia Harvey, Lilli Woodbury, and Patrick Swailes Caldwell. Through the creative art of storytelling + performance,  creating moments of connection, and a motivated global citizen, each project provides immense growth along this crazy journey of dream-chasing.
Thus, this is where you hop in for the ride.

Enjoy :)
