Hello you beautiful soul,
First off, I need to get this out of the way lol. This is my first blog post! It's so interesting to see how there are more and more ways to connect with people via the inter-webs, even tho blogging is old fashioned, I'm feeing inspired. So onto more word soup below:
For some reason I'm even more excited for Black History Month this year. I don't know if it's the new year glow still lingering or the overwhelming amount of love February brings as whole but regardless I am super excited. Spent the last month doing a lot deep work/reflections so that I remain grounded throughout this year. hmmmm I wonder...what keeps you grounded? The word "grounded" in itself is somewhat peaceful to me. The heavier consonants of the "gr' and "ded" brings anchoring to the meaning as you say the word. Grounded. Groun-ded. I like it. That's going to be a word of the year for me added to the 2022 mood board. Keep things and people who keep me grounded close. That's how I'll remain humble yet unapologetic simultaneously. hmmm I wonder...what will keep you grounded this year?
